This situation most often occurs during the process of eminent domain, such as when the city or county is improving an intersection and a portion of your property is needed to accommodate the improvements. At this point a Partial Reconveyance of the property is needed and the Credit Union as lienholder is required to sign to indicate its acceptance and approval. You may call our Member Service Center at 1-800-538-3328 to request that a Signed Request for a Partial Reconveyance-Real Estate Secured/Unsecured Transactions form be faxed to you. This form lists the items that will be necessary to gather from the escrow/title company assisting with the property transfer. These documents are to be submitted to the Credit Union's Real Estate Department. A review of the documents and an approval must be completed. Depending on your loan’s circumstances, you may need to pay the costs of a property valuation or appraisal. Please submit the items as far in advance as possible in order to allow the Credit Union time for the review; a minimum of four business days should be provided.
